What is Solar System?
The sun, its 8 major planets,other small planets,and interplanetary dust and gas are gravitationally bounded around sun’s orbit. Among eight major planets Mercury and Venus doesn’t have any Moons at all, Earth has one moon and Mars has two small moons. In outer solar system large planets like Jupiter and Saturn and Icy planets Uranus and Neptune has numerous number of moons.
Our solar system formed 4.6 Billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of giant interstellar molecular cloud.

- Neptune has an average temperature of -353 Fahrenheit (-214 Celsius).

- Jupiter has the shortest day of all the planets.The upper atmosphere of Jupiter is divided into cloud belts and zones. They are made primarily of ammonia crystals, sulfur, and mixtures of the two compounds.
- For years Mars has been known to have water in the form of ice. The first signs of trickling water are dark stripes or stains on crater wall and cliffs seen in satellite images. Due to Mars’ atmosphere this water would have to be salty to prevent it from freezing or vaporizing.
